Proposal Public Consultation
Posted on 17 Feb 2020
You may remember that we ran a petition to support our application for a parking restriction in front of the surgery (hundreds of you signed the petition). Our proposal was approved last spring and SBC has just launched the public consultation which runs from today to 17 October 2019. We would really appreciate if you could kindly send an email to SBC in favour of the proposal to firstname.lastname@example.org quoting 2016 Consolidation Order (Amendment No 7 Southchurch Boulevard).”

APPLICATION FOR PARKING RESTRICTIONS TO BE APPLIED OUTSIDE THE CENTRAL SURGERY, 27 SOUTHCHURCH BOULEVARD, SOUTHEND ON SEA
Many of our patients including our more elderly and disabled patients are finding it increasingly difficult to find available parking space outside the surgery as there are frequently cars parked there all day.
We would like to see time conditional parking restriction applied and enforced on all day parking outside the surgery. We have previously applied to Southend Borough Council for this change and they have declined the application giving the reason that this is a public highway.
We are asking our patients to sign this petition to present to Southend Borough Council to apply again for a restriction on parking outside the surgery so all patients but particularly those most impacted by the lack of any current restrictions including blue badge car owners can park outside the surgery when needed.
The surgery is committed to providing the best service it can to its patients and your support for this petition is much appreciated
